On Thursday, January 29, 2015, in the premises of the company Pan Komerc in Požega, the first in a series of workshops was held within the Project Establishing the functional work of the Metal Industry Cluster of Western Serbia VEST METAL GROUP.

The workshop was organized with the aim of defining the vision and goals of the Cluster as well as to form strategic areas of interest. This activity was chosen because formulating visions, common goals and deriving a strategy from the goals plays a key role in the integration of companies within the cluster, as well as their identification by the cluster. The process of defining visions and goals creates a common basis of work and trust for further cooperation. By clearly defining the goals, an understanding of the upcoming tasks of cluster development is achieved.

By the way, the project Establishment of functional work of the Metal Industry Cluster of Western Serbia VEST METAL GROUP is being implemented within the Program of Support to Innovative Clusters, which the National Agency for Regional Development has been implementing for many years. The project contributes to the capacity building of the cluster in order to be able to provide organization, logistics, professional, infrastructural, institutional, technical, informational and other types of support to its members and thus contribute to their development.
